We Can Do Better Matt Simons

2016 was the year of Matt Simons. His song "Catch & Release" was everywhere - in many charts, clubs and beach bars. It was played worldwide during the summer and it's still a classic I'll never forget. With songs like "When The Lights Go Down" and "Lose Control" he left the year and gained some more - well deserved - attention.

Some days ago this talented guy released a new song called "We Can Do Better" and I had a feeling that this song has a perfect timing to be this year's summer hit. I love the uplifting melody and his powerful vocals - I would love to hear this track everywhere the next months!

The song was co-written with well-known songwriters and here are Simons' thoughts about the collaboration and his new single: “I met up with Emily Warren and Scott Harris, both incredibly accomplished songwriters and we started talking about relationships, specifically marriage. Scott is already married, and I was just about to propose to my girlfriend in the coming weeks. We started discussing articles we’d read about how young people are not jumping into committed relationships nearly as often as previous generations and waiting later and later into their 20s and 30s to get married. With the divorce rate at more than 50%, can you blame them? We decided to write a song of hope for my future fiancée and myself about how We Can Do Better.

You can stream the song right now and enjoy more happy songs here. Have a great day!
